Individuals
A client of mine once described therapy to me as an “emotional massage”. I loved that description because sometimes it can really feel that way. I am often fortunate enough to see someone walk out the door with a weight lifted, a heaviness unburdened. It’s work. It’s rarely simple. But it’s a gift you give yourself because the time is right and the moment is now.
Talk therapy is often useful. At the same time, tapping into the mind, body and spirit takes us to new understandings of ourselves. It is here that you can take a breath to notice what you have been carrying; what continues to serve you and what you finally want to learn to leave behind.
Throughout this process, through awareness and compassion, we begin to feel movement. And when you shift, the world around you shifts in tandem. There is no other way.
I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches depending on you, the context and the goals we set. In all instances though, there is a lesson in slowing down and finding your way back to yourself.
Together we will navigate that process, as you organically move toward what your internal compass already knows is right for you. The knowing that you’ve forgotten how to access, but is waiting for you.
